Kasper Bjørke - Standing On Top Of Utopia [HFN Music 004]

To be released on february 15th via HFN Music is Kasper Bjørke's second full length album entitled "Standing On Top Of Utopia", a longplayer that can likely be described as ten tracks journey through various styles of electronic music. Starting out with amalgamations of Electronica, fragile Indie-influences and shoegazing Pop via Cosmic-induced House to epic, krauty, PostPunk-referring dance tracks that'd well fit on labels like DC Recordings or even deepest listening music - especially referring to "Great Kills" here. All this to be found within an all over playtime of 48 minutes - a great reflection of Mr. Bjørke's musical abilities and at the same time a perfect example of how to deliver a proper, interesting album in electronic music that is very different from only being a collection of dancefloor moving tracks. Highly recommended to open minded music lovers that do not give a thing about genres.
