Audiolith Release News

Hamburg-based Audiolith Records is not only everyones favorite imprint when it comes to ElectroPunkRaveWhatever but comes up with two new releases these days.

Cat.No. 037 is The Dance Inc.'s "Matador" which is one of the biggest SynthPop-anthem written ever within the last 15 years. Anthemic but still a bit of melancholia involved and working dancefloors well. Back in the 80's this one would have easily climbed into top20 positions. Remixed by Bob Humid and totally re-edited into a German vs. English Lyrics NewRave excess by Frittenbude all those longing for alternative versions will find their favorite, too. Another live recorded version taken from a gig in Vienna in 2007 that easily proves their live quality is featured as well, so this one is a must.

Plemo vs. Rampue feat. Jessica Drosten are responsible for Audiolith 038, which is their track "Excess Express". Working on a different level this one sticks in yr ears due to its slightly trashy, bleepy attitude and loads of micromusic-related noises. Guess this is about to set NeuRave- and Indie-kids on fire the same at peaktime occasions, no matter if one plays out the Original Versions or reworks featured by Rampue and Bastian Heerhorst.
