01. Trust In 6 - Life In Ecstasy [Mecanica 097]
The Poland-based Mecanica label unearthed another highly influential classic from the early 90s, this time the 1991-released 12" single "Life In Ecstasy" by Trust In 6 which yours truly heard first in the very first issue of the famed 'Techno Trax' 2CD series which was released by ZYX Records in cooperation with Technodrome International back then. With its clear floating synth melodies, EBM- / SynthPop-leaning vocals which evoke memories of Sven Väth's sing/speech style employed in hits like OFF's "Electrica Salsa", subtle Agreppo-influences and of course fueled by the euphoria of early Rave days "Life In Ecstasy" still holds up to this day as a sonic document of its time alongside being a highly seductive dancefloor bang0r and a certified earworm in its own right. Tune!

02. Tron Revolta - Volume 1 [TRON001]
They say things are coming full circle within the music industry roughly every 20 years and it seems like this approximation is kinda accurate once again. Roughly around the mid-00s we saw record stores being flooded with gazillions of il- or semi-legal bootleg releases of rather questionable origin, mostly sitting within the realm of House, TechHouse or ElectroHouse at first before Techno, NuSkoolBreaks and other genres followed suit. Now, in 2k25, we see bootlegs making a comeback and the one in question here is no exception. Especially added to the collection for the pumping, highly seductive and well functional TechHouse-take on Depeche Mode's "Behind The Wheel" as a major selling point for us "King Of Drop" on B1 makes proper use of the beloved hoover signal which shook the world to the core in Human Resource's "Dominator" for a reason and is defo doing the same to contemporary dancefloors these days, despite adding a rather unexpected tongue-in-cheek Rave twist for a peak time tune.
