Put out on the digital circuit as cat.no. 031 of the Dancefloor Socialism imprint on December 10, 2k24 is the "Ghost FM EP", the third musical outing cooked up for the label by the Low Frequency project. Whilst the title track "Ghost FM" sees Low Frequency on a pumping and well elastic ClubTechno x Intelligent Techno tip sporting sparkling clouds of gaseous synth plinkerings alongside a soft, dubbed out and moving pad sequence evoking memories of endless visual rides through colourful computer-animated tunnels in the first half of the 90s - X-Mix-3 anyone? - the subsequent cut that is "Iron Curtain" provides more of driving approach to deep atmospheric Techno backed by dry, expertly sculpted bass drums, raw hi-hats and underlaying percussions as a foundation for yearning harmonies, early morning panoramas and lively, playful and colourful synth motifs alongside eerie, undecipherable and slightly unsettling non-vocalisms seeping through what could be described as a meta-dimensional rift.
