All those longing for classics are recommended to watch out for the forthcoming cat.no. 002 of Dessous Recordings Limited which brings back Chez Damier's 1992-released piece "Can You Feel It (New York Dub)" in a remastered version - a true blueprint of how ecstatic and uplifting House music can be whilst being far from cheesy. This is quality. On the flip Mr. Stefan Brügesch a.k.a. the man behind the name of Steve Bug comes up with two quality edits of the original cut named "Re-Mix" and "Re-Dub", terms that have been used like this in the early 90s when remixes were more like re-edits due to the - compared to now - simple state of technology and this is exactly what Steve Bug is doing with his treatments: a little bit of change here, a new hi-hat structure there, more bass on the drums and a few changes at some other points... Does not sound like he's doing much, but he's doing it with style and this is the most important point when one's playing around with pieces from the heydays of House. We can feel that.
