The mysterious, yet highly active Dr. NoiseM has done it again and brings us another sequel of his ongoing album series 'The CDr A-B-C', this time part 'P' according to his approach to serve a full longplay piece for each and every letter of the alphabet. Having said this and reviewed not only all pieces of this series as well as nearly every single Dr. NoiseM release ever it's pretty much obvious for us where this journey will be going, but the question remains which part of the Dark Ambient spectrum will be explored and how Dr. NoiseM refines his work from album to album. With "The CDr A-B-C: P" we see an astoundingly calm and beautiful variation on the subject, catering a certain solemness as well as a sense of relief one sometimes experiences in fully untouched nature after a massive thunderstorm has come to an end. Therefore, and most naturally, inherent to the one-tracker spanning a total of 69 minutes is a very specific beauty that can be both described as postapocalyptic yet angelic, with haunted, non-verbal vocal layers appearing in the very background whilst blurred, yet clearly recognizable harmonic changes do cater the needs of classic Ambient lovers as well, even without fulfilling certain cliches or serving layers upon layers of sugary, melodic strings. Quite a calming piece, this one is - limited to 26 CD-r copies worldwide and therefore should soon to be regarded as a sought after item for a reason.
