Tuleje - Nagle Prezejasnienia [Gusstaff Records]
Tuleje is back on Gusstaff Records. The trio consisting of Gosia Zagajeswka, Ksawery Wojcinskyand Wojtek Kurek are releasing their third longplayer for the ever active Polish label on June 12, 2k26 - a.k.a. today -, once again approaching the topic of original Folk Music from Eastern Greater Poland and re-imagining their material from their very own and personal point of view with "Plot" introducing a new, raw and in some way even PostPunk-leaning angle to Tuleje's sound, "Grzbiet" entering dramatic, slightly vintage territories yet allowing for enough melody and catchiness for it becoming a dedicated and spine-tingling underground hit of sorts which also goes for "Noc" and its well funky, almost Pink Floyd-adjacent vibe whereas "Drzwi" weighs in quite a hefty, muscular and highly seductive Rock meets Swing groove and the final cut "Mio" presents a rather unsettling, nocturnal and even slightly DarkJazz-oriented finale which should find its way into a future feature film score for a reason or two. Quite a diverse and interesting album, this.
