Straight from the Ghetto - News on HipHop, pt. 31

German HipHop-terrorists K.I.Z., originating from the Royal Bunker-stable, are entering the realms of BootyHouse with their new 12" "Spasst" on Universal Domestic Division. Heavy, but still funny diss vocals are accompanied by glitzy ElectroHouse-beatz provided by MinimalTechno-producers Dirt Crew on their remixes delivered on side A, while Tai Jason's versions on the flip refer to pathetic 80's Rock sample- and soundwise. All hands are way up - get the party started!

Taken off Jay-Z's album "American Gangster" is his new 12" "Roc Boys (And The Winner Is)..." which has been put on the circuit as red, clear vinyl promo via Roc-A-Fella Records shortly. A fat anthem this is without any negative or gangsta attitude - pure party vibes are provided here and due to that this is gonna stick in my box for a while. Check out!

New as well on the promo circuit is Chingy feat. Amerie's "Fly Like Me", due to be released via DTP Records / DefJam which is nothing more than a under-average, kitsch-loaden DigiSoul-tune that might achieve some airplay and will probably touch village girls hearts at highschool dances. Too much drama involved here.

A better one is Mary J Blige's new single named "Work That" on Geffen Records, taken off her new album "Growing Pains". To be filed as proper DigiSoul-tune, featuring a remix version seeing Busta Rhymes on vocal duties which defo is a good choice for a guest appearance.
