Shimakaze - Deep Nip [Fischfresse 003 Promo]

Put out on the digital circuit via the aggressively named Fischfresse imprint on April 20th, 2k23 is Shimakaze's "Deep Nip", the second appearance on the label for the relatively fresh project. Opening with the title track "Deep Nip" we're drawn straight to the heart of the dancefloor by pumping drums and seductive, slightly gooey and Progressive House-informed bassline action in combination with sharp, driving hi-hats, filtered stabs and airy Trance movements whereas the subsequent cut that is "Stranding" presents a most beautiful take on floating, carefully arranged late night Ambient Trance paired with a plethora of playfully intertwined ever bleeping and blipping synth lines for those who've been fans of the genre since the early to mid 90s.
