Niteffect [Kreislauf 100 Promo]

The DJ-/ artist- / producer- / netlabel-collective Kreislauf is about to broaden its spectrum towards vinyl in the nearest future with a first and upcoming 7" release by an artist named Niteffect who serves two nicely crafted tracks exploring the vague and unnamed terrain in between Ambient Electro, Electronica and the so-called Beatmaker scene including artists like Bibio, Eskmo, Flying Lotus and the likes of, just to name three out of many. Cloudy, deep listening music for very advanced dancefloors or open minded ChillOut-areas which is likely to be regarded as sought after item soon as the whole pressing is limited to 100 copies worldwide. Watch out and do not miss.

More info on this 7" is to be found here...

Patrick Chardronnet - Pleasant Day [Audiomatique Recordings 045 Promo]

Patrick Chardronnet is about to tear up this summers dances with his forthcoming 12" on Audiomatique Recordings - the double A-sided "Perfect Day". The title track of the labels cat.no. 045 is a thrilling piece of chicago'esque TechFunk featuring psyched-out vocal snippets, a thrilling synth-hook and huge monster of a bassline blowing everyone's head off after the tracks is mid-break. This one is massive. "Aim" on the flip is on a deeper tip and can be described as a playful and quite decent 2011-update of what might be filed under the flag of dubbed out Trance - defo a tune for special late night moments that is able to put a smile on every punters face being embraced by the layered synth warmth provided here.

The Sexinvaders feat. Knixx - Silent Heart [Pink-Pong]

The Sexinvaders are back with their new single "Silent Heart", exploring terrains of introverted but electrified IndiePop with this one, ready to enter the realms of daytime radio rotation plus the hearts of young heart-broken girls suffering from gone summertime or holiday affairs. Remixes are provided by the likes of Boylerz, Fex Fellini, The Stereo Youth and Maral Salmassi, all of them based on a four-to-the-floor dancefloor skeleton but still dreamy and peaceful and due to that fitting best for very late night sessions or (Neo)Cosmic-related sets. One exception - The Stereo Youth manage to serve a proper dancefloor-working version featuring a nicely programmed cowbell section able to pass the prime time club test.

Steinkind - Etappe 011 [fubAk Entertainment Promo]

June 10th saw the release of the new Steinkind-album named "Etappe 011", put on the circuit via their very own imprint fubAk Entertainment. Starting off with the unconventional and quite experimental "Antipop" which can be seen as a study of what its title suggests the listener is about to experience a twelve track journey between EBM and Future Pop, haunted and out of breath-sounding German lyrics, electric guitars, Rave- and Rock-influences, all fused and melted together flawlessly - Steinkind-style, unique and well recognizable, not necessarily music for the masses and defo not everyones kind but surely remarkable and about to succeed on festival stages in the future, especially with their anthemic "Hallo Und Schönen Tag" and the DAF-like "Weil Wir Fressen".

Steinkind - Es Muss EP [fubAk Entertainment Promo]

Steinkind, long-time established band outfit from Leipzig / Germany, recently released their new single "Es Muss EP" as a prequel for their forthcoming album "Etapppe 011" via fubAk Entertainment - a piece crossing borders between EBM and dark'ish but epic Future Pop with german lyrics. Apart from original and extendend version to be found on this one there are remixes provided by band member Phil J providing a more ElectroHouse-/-Clash-related rework and NYC's Oliver Chesler a.k.a. The Horrorist coming up with a stripped down remix working well with the late night posse. Also to be found here: the so-called "Raveolution Mix" of their track "Fühlst Du Dich" which is a bit trashy but well-ecstatic and slightly Underworld-like. Somehow.

Risk Risk - Streetwalk

Just one great track taken from Risk Risk's amazing album "This Is 1983" recently released via Astro Chicken Records. Video was shot to tape with an original vintage 80s TV camera, true style retroism invlvd here.

Sticker Love & World Domination: Web Find From 2010

Radiorama - Aliens

A few months ago I stumbled upon the original 7" pressing of this track at a flea market in the small rural town of Marne and bought it just for the great but still trashy cover artwork as I didn't know the song or the band up to this date. Back home it turned out to be a real highlight of the long gone ItaloDisco-movement and immediately became one of my favorites in this genre.

Captain Capa - Saved My Life [Audolith Records 104 Promo]

The Bad Frankenhausen-boys named Captain Capa recently unleashed their new album via Audiolith Records, being the first band on the well-established label that serves an album more related to pathetic Indie structures than to what's called ElectroPunk these days. Classic song structures, epic hooklines and massive build-ups, english lyrics and a bit of SynthPop and GlamWave, productionwise polished by Norman Kolodziej better known as Der Tante Renate and recorded and put together with a little help of people like Torsun of Egotronic-fame, Hendrik Menzl of Supershirt, Leontine Jenner and a few more fellow musicians and vocal talents - this is what is to be found here, a little different from what usually happens in the Audiolith universe sonically but still very well fitting and, not only due to the use of english language, defo able to catch some international attention as these tracks are about to rock dancefloors worldwide. File under: Stadium Pop.

Forest On Fire - This Is What I've Become [Dark Meadow Recordings]

Responsible for cat.no. DRMF017 of Dark Meadow Recordings is the project Forest On Fire coming up with their Dark Ambient meets Noise-album "This Is What I've Become" including nine tracks of Deep Listening Electronics, mostly produced solo but three of them co-produced or voiced by artists like Congenital Mutation, Misantronics and Stahlfaust. Although this one is not the best amalgamation of Drones and distortions ever heard those who once liked Wolfgang Voigt's legendary GAS-releases referring to the feel of the german Black Forrest and related romanticism are about to appreciate "This Is What I've Become" as well.

Free Download: Sounds Behind The Corner Vol.1

If you happen to be a fan of genres like Neo- and EtherealFolk, Medieval or influenced by DarkAmbient and willing or curious to discover the sound of underground artists like Darklily, Ad Ombra, The Hare And The Moon, Snowfade or others just check out the free download compilation "Sound Behind The Corner Vol.1" recently available through the Bologna-based website of the same name. Just hit their download section and explore what happens there...

The M.S.P. - Hate II [Dark Meadow Recordings]

More hate, musical violence and deconstruction is provided by The M.S.P. and their album "Hate II" which is released as cat.no. DRMF016 of Dark Meadow Recordings including a whole bunch of fourteen uber-distorted tracks somewhat in between hyper-compressed Hartcore and ultraviolent Speedcore, sometimes accompanied and influenced by guitar-driven Hatecore or epic string constructions building dense atmospheres and devil'ish tension. A real soundtrack from hell and able to turn pacifists into war machines. Do NOT play to minors or weak-heartened folks for given reason.

Sascha Müller - Krankenhaus (GREY) [SM Traxxx 010]

Part ten of Sascha Müller's "Krankenhaus"-series leaves colours alone and enters the greyscale area with two brand new tracks that can be described as raw and uncut sketches walking on the thin line drawn between underground Techno and experimental Acid, stuff that's meant to be played to a crowd consisting of those who know in illegal basement clubs featuring a huge P.A., a fog machine and high-speed strobes. Squat music.

JGarrett - Tidal Zone EP [Super 6 Records 065.5]

JGarrett is back on Super 6 Records with his latest four track EP named "Tidal Zone", exploring realms of deeper, melodic Techno obviously influenced by the sound of motor city but with a modern twist. So if you're into what's called (Neo)Detroit and usually following labels like Rushhour and the likes of this one is about to please you, too. One track to check: "Chy-Ton" introducing a hyperactive acidic attitude to all the dancefloor crowd.

02. Tali - Dark Days / Lost In The Game [Audioporn Records 011]
I gotta admit I've never been the biggest fan of Tali when she was voicing a lot of Drum'n'Bass-tunes years ago but these two Dubstep-/Pop-attempts produced by Ed Rush ("Dark Days") and Dirtyphonics ("Lost In The Game") immediately caught my attention, fusing the best of both worlds without giving up on the underground. Beats are still heavy, basslines massive and Tali's vocals come off in a nice and catchy Urban-/DigiSoul-style that can be called nothing less than anthemic. Listen to these tunes once and you'll never ever forget 'em. This actually IS the future and I demand them to be played out on every fucking daytime radio station out there. How do you spell m-a-s-s-i-v-e ?

03. Sawoff Shotgun - For Our Sanity [Sevenahalf Records Promo]

04. Krumble - Autobahn / Bass Line Vision [Death$ucker Records 034]
It's been a while since a DarkJungle-/Breakcore-related release was featured in my monthly top 10 as I felt that there wasn't much going on in this specific genre lately but this one is not to be missed by any means. Nice junglistic beat wizzardy with a few glitches here and there accompanied by uber-anthemic, kitsch-loaden melodies that sound so familiar that they must have been ripped off or at least covered from any 80s Synth-anthem by Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis or similar. Defo puts a smile on everyones face and will be loved not only by Happy Hardcore-/ Oldskool-addicts. Fuck up your happiness and get sorted - this is for ravers!
